Technical Support, Help Desk

The primarily start for an IT specialist, who has an excellent computer user experience, and able to support others, this person has the capabilities to solve his computer issues, and for his friends and others. He can start his career by some only the technical background he has during schools, although the certificate for this position is not too much it’s better to prove your skills and organize your knowledge by taking one or more from the following entry level training and certificates: 

  • ICDL (International Computer Driver license

  • CompTIA A+

  • MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate)

  • CompTIA IT Fundamental

  • MCSA: Windows 10 or Office 

MS Windows Engineer/IS Administrator

This position mainly related to most of Microsoft Windows Server Operating system and its infrastructure services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc… He is also working other IT related application to manage the Data Center and IT environment such as backup servers, Storage, Server’s  Monitoring tools, plus an advanced MS Product such as MS Exchange, MS Windows Clustering, MS SQL Administration, 

 

  • MCSE Cloud: Platform and infrastructure 

  • MCSE Productivity 

  • CompTIA Server+ 

  • MCSA Windows Servers

Linux System Engineer

Open Source Specialist is a special one, who believes and loves open source, this field is becoming highly required as most of the companies are looking for open source tools and become publicly accepted in most of the enterprises, and small business. The open source guy is open, smart, love to build everything from scratch, work independently, he is not vendor oriented, but it’s also important to prove your knowledge by holding one of the following certificates 

 

  • CompTIA Linux+ 

  • LPI 

  • RHCSA 

  • RHCE 

  • Oracle Linux 

Cloud Specialist

Cloud Computing and virtualization specialist is considered as a new position, that is created based on the high demand and transformation to cloud by most of the organization. The cloud computing requires systems engineering experiences, and the are many options to select your specialization in cloud computing, as some big name of vendors how are leading the cloud computing technology. 

  • VMware certificates 

  • MS Hypervisor and Cloud certificates 

  • Red Hat Virtualization and Cloud Certificates 

  • OpenStack Cloud certificates (offered by many vendors)

  • Oracle Virtualization certificates 

Storage Admin

The storage admin is very critical position and it requires deep experience in systems infrastructure and advanced knowledge in SAN (Storage area network) usually this position can be combined with other systems engineering positions and backup systems expertise , there is a high demand on this position as the storage requirement increased and SAN technology exists in most of companies, the certificates usually are vendor based Certificate based the Company manufacturing the storage. such as 

  • EMC Storage Admin 

  • Oracle Storage Admin 

  • HP Storage Admin 

  • NetApp Storage Admin
